Big-screen gaming brilliance: how the BRAVIA Projector 7 transforms your gaming experience
If you're looking for an incredible projector for gaming, movies, sports and more the Sony BRAVIA Projector 7 is the one to watch.
Sony's premium projector isn't just made for movies: its high performance, powerful image processing and exceptional visual quality make it the perfect gaming projector too. With immense Native 4K¹ detail from Sony's class-leading laser light source and innovative SXRD display, the BRAVIA Projector 7 puts you right at the heart of the action. It delivers astonishing depth, texture and realism in every scene and every game for the ultimate in immersion and entertainment.
Native 4K with incredible colour and contrast
The BRAVIA Projector 7 brings you dazzling highlights and deep shadows, with Native 4K SXRD resolution and 2,200 lumens of brightness. It's particularly amazing with 4K games on PlayStation and PlayStation Pro, giving them the epic scale and incredible clarity they deserve: the sunsets of Horizon: Forbidden West are breathtakingly beautiful and the fog-bound Silent Hill: Townfall's atmosphere is even more terrifying. Adventures in Vice City in GTA VI are going to look absolutely spectacular.
Drawing on Sony's acclaimed BRAVIA TV technologies, the latest XR Processor for Projector optimises the image in real time to deliver exceptional contrast, beautifully nuanced detail and lifelike realism whether you're battling in a bright arena or exploring a dark, atmospheric space. Its Dynamic Tone Mapping constantly analyses and optimises what's on screen, preserving detail even in the very brightest and darkest scenes.
BRAVIA makes older games look amazing too, thanks to Sony's impressive XR Clear Image technology. That upscales lower-resolution content, bringing it as close as possible to full 4K.
Low latency for fast, fluid gaming
The BRAVIA Projector 7 is the perfect partner for your PlayStation, with HDMI 2.1 and Auto Low Latency Mode for smooth and highly responsive gaming. It's lightning-fast, with ultra-low 12ms lag for smooth and responsive gameplay. Ever corner, every opponent and every move feels instantly within your control.
If you're a more casual gamer, Sony has another brilliant projector for you: the Sony VPL-XW5000ES, a value-packed laser 4K projector featuring Sony's innovative 4K SXRD display and X1 Ultimate processor. It's a great way to get flagship features for an even more affordable price.
Seamless switching from gaming to movies
One of our favourite features of the BRAVIA Projector 7 is its Aspect Ratio Scaling, which enables you to move effortlessly from big-screen gaming to widescreen cinema. It switches digitally between 16:9 and 2.35:1 Cinemascope without adjusting the lens, automatically filling your screen with glorious gaming or movie magic.
Phenomenal power for perfect pictures
The XR Processor for Projector means you get the same powerful image processing as Sony's award-winning flagship BRAVIA TVs including Sony's Reality Creation system for enhanced depth and detail. The BRAVIA Projector 7 also has XR Dynamic Tone Mapping, XR Deep Black, XR Triluminous Pro colour enhancement, XR Clear Image and Motionflow picture processing. There are plenty of presets for movies, gaming and sports, and there are both TV and Bright TV Modes, with the latter delivering a more punchy picture to stand out in rooms with lots of ambient light.
Magnificent movies and sensational sports
The same image and motion processing that makes the BRAVIA Projector 7 great for gaming also enhance your experience in movies and sports. The Projector's immersive HDR, high resolution and smooth, fast SXRD™ projection give you a truly cinematic experience with deeper blacks and more vivid colours, and Sony's Dynamic Tone Mapping brings the director's full vision to life in every shadow and light. And thanks to Sony's advanced HDR tone mapping, XR Triluminous Pro colour enhancement and SDR upscaling, older movies have never looked so good.
The XR Processor for Projector's depth mapping identifies and enhances focal points to create a sense of depth and realism that makes every frame more immersive. It's just as effective in fast-moving sports as it is in action movies, delivering every crucial detail with superb clarity no matter how fast the on-screen action.
Made to suit your space
Whether you're creating a dedicated home cinema space or enhancing your main living space, the BRAVIA Projector's understated, contemporary and compact design works well in any environment, and its light weight makes it well suited for ceiling mounting too.
The BRAVIA Projector 7 is an incredible upgrade for any home cinema system, with incredible Native 4K HDR and the very best of Sony's BRAVIA technologies.
¹ A 4K game is required to deliver full 4K resolution. Lower-resolution content is upscaled as close to 4K as possible using XR Clear Image technology.
