‘Huawei remains steadfast in its partner-led commercial market strategy’: How Huawei is joining hands with partners for the new and intelligent era
While Mobile World Congress 2026 was dominated by the latest hardware and the innovations of individuals, Huawei chose to focus on the intelligence of the collective. At a forum dubbed “Joining Hands with Partners for the New Digital and Intelligent Era,” the company made it clear that the future isn’t just built on the fastest chips or the most advanced LLMs, but the support for partners. After all, there is a gap between problems and solutions that can only be bridged by cooperation - and Huawei’s partner business lifecycle is a practical reflection of exactly that.
This was duly apparent in the opening remarks of Ernest Zhang, President of Huawei Partner Development and Commercial & Distribution Business Dept, who outlined how success is bolstered by collaboration. “Facing the diverse needs across industries, Huawei remains steadfast in its partner-led commercial market strategy.”
"We will continue to invest in leading ICT infrastructure and AI capabilities, empowering partners to build scenario-specific solutions tailored to industry demands. Through initiatives focused on partner capability building, collaborative service delivery, incentive programs, and digital IT platforms, we are committed to working hand-in-hand with partners to serve end customers in their digital, intelligent transformation."
Huawei has therefore taken upon itself to redefine the business lifecycle in the AI and digital era by providing the building blocks upon which its partners can thrive. Peter Zhang, Director of Huawei Commercial Sales Dept, explained how the company is pre-packaging digital transformation. “We are embedding AI deep into industries such as education, healthcare, and hospitality, working with partners to co-create hundreds of solutions tailored to real customer needs.”
"To make partner collaboration with Huawei easier and more efficient, we have mapped out the full partner business journey. Through 48 standard reference architectures, a robust deal registration protection policy, and AI-driven IT tools, we provide end-to-end support, from solution integration and joint marketing to project sales and after-sales service. This ensures that partners receive required support from Huawei at every stage,” Peter Zhang stated.
The real-world impact of Huawei’s work is apparent. The 48 standard reference architectures the company has developed cut down the time typically spent creating and troubleshooting a custom solution from three months to just one week, while also allowing partners to work in custom requirements for AI integration and high-speed networking.
But the business lifecycle isn’t just technical requirements - marketing and sales also require careful attention in order to achieve success. The Huawei eFly app provides partners access to a library of over 2,000 marketing assets and funds for organizing campaigns and industry events.
Acquiring projects is an important metric of growth, and Huawei is arming its partners with all the tools needed to secure every opportunity. From AI-driven platforms like Partner Three Cloud to provide robust network design and competitive bidding, to a comprehensive registration policy that ensures partners can access the best pricing possible. But the support doesn’t end there. Partners can also call upon Huawei’s Government Technical Assistance Center (GTAC) to provide a 24/7 customer care safety net.
Everywhere networks are needed, Huawei is delivering. When it comes to how Huawei’s collaboration with its partners is being put into practice, the examples are global. Guilaume Portier, EVP Global Partner Management explained how the Vusion Group is equipping major supermarkets in Europe with Huawei’s wireless infrastructure to power sophisticated IoT retail solutions.
Zhang Zhen, Product Director of Huimei Technology, explained how collaborating with Huawei has ensured faster, more accurate diagnoses by helping to deploy clinical decision support through Huawei’s AI infrastructure across China, the Middle East, North and Southeast Africa, and Europe.
Huawei is also helping to outfit the next generation of smart hospitals, with Francisco Hortigüela Martos, President of AMETIC, detailing how frameworks co-designed with Huawei are being used to produce a construction guide for intelligent hospitals. Customer care is just as important as patient care, as Ricardo Carrillo, CTO of Catalonia Hotels & Resorts explained. Huawei is helping to deploy fiber-to-the-room solutions to sustainably prepare hotels for Wi-Fi 7, while also reducing cabling and cost of ownership.
This new era of digital intelligence will be shaped by collaboration. When partners are supported and protected, the entire industry benefits - and Huawei has positioned its partners as the heroes of this digital transformation.
