The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is out now, and if you've just got back from the theater, or have your tickets booked for some time over the next few weeks, then you'll probably be eager to further immerse yourself in all things Super Mario.
The recent Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 re-releases are an obvious pick, and a great place to start if you haven't played them before, but with more than 30 related games out across both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, there are lots of options at your fingertips.
I've played almost every game even tangentially connected to the red plumber and have put together this list with some of my favorites. For those on a budget, the tactical action of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is worth every cent, given its asking price of under ten bucks, while role-playing game (RPG) fans will get a lot out of the Super Mario RPG remake.
If you're a Switch 2 owner, then you have some more recent exclusive instalments like Mario Tennis Fever and Mario Kart World to weigh up - plus enhanced re-releases with exclusive content like Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park.
