If you don't require the bells and whistles of the DMP-BDT310 then the BDT110 is a great way of getting the same top-notch performance and saving a bit of cash.
Even without the second HDMI port, built-in Wi-Fi, Touch Free Sensor and sound modes, there are still plenty of features to get your teeth into, such as Skype, DLNA networking, iPhone control, Viera Cast and, of course, 3D playback.
It could be improved by updating the limited Viera Cast to the new Viera Connect portal, and as much as we like the Skype feature, the camera's hefty price tag is a big ask. 2D to 3D conversion is also a slight disappointment, but these gripes are a drop in the ocean compared with all the positives.
We liked
The wide range of features to play with, the highlight of which is Skype video calling, is superb. The deck also provides stunning HD picture quality with both 2D and 3D discs, and the new on-screen design is the epitome of user-friendly.
We disliked
Viera Cast's range of sites is starting to feel stale, and at around £120 the communication camera makes Skype a rather expensive feature. Panasonic also has lots of work to do with its 2D conversion, which fails to convince most of the time, although that goes for most 2D conversion modes.
