Amazon's second Prime Day sale for 2023, called Prime Big Deal Days, might be over, but there's still a variety of goodies to snatch up with some pretty sweet discounts still available across the site.

If you missed it, Prime Big Deal Days ran from midnight October 10 until 11.59pm October 11, with a few deals flowing in from the Amazon US and Amazon JP stores right up until 3pm on October 12. That meant there was 63 hours to shop deals on Kindles, Echo smart speakers, Nintendo and many more.

Some of these deals are still running, though the savings might not be as large anymore. There is also not as many exclusive to Prime members anymore, but if you want to try out the 30-day free trial, you can get perks such as free shipping and Prime video for a full month without dropping a cent. Though, we recommend waiting until November to test out the 30-day free trial so you can take advantage of Prime's shopping perks in the 11.11 Singles Day and Black Friday sales.

When is Amazon Prime Day?

2023’s Amazon Prime Day ran from 12am SGT on Tuesday, July 11 and officially ended at 11.59pm SGT on Wednesday, July 12 2023. Though Singaporean shoppers did get a few bonus hours to nab some deals from the Amazon US global store, the sale actually finished at 3pm SGT on Thursday, July 13 – that means it ran for a whopping 63 hours in total.

The second round of sale in Amazon Prime Big Deal Days will kick off from 12am SGT on Tuesday, October 10 2023, with deals officially ending on Amazon SG at 11.59pm SGT on Wednesday, October 11 2023. However, Amazon US will still have deals running until 3pm SGT on Thursday October 12, so Singapore shoppers get an extra 15 hours to shop the US deals.

Will there be another Prime Day in 2023?

Amazon has announced in a press release that a second Amazon Prime Day will happen in October, this time with the name Prime Big Deal Days. There’s no exact dates for this sale yet, but Amazon has confirmed that it’ll feature some of this season’s biggest deals.

Prime Big Deal Days will likely replace last year’s Prime Early Access Sale, which ran from 3pm SGT on October 11 until 2.59pm on October 13 in 2022, and it aligned with the US’s midnight launch. If Big Deal Days is like the Prime Early Access Sale, and that's been confirmed when the dates were announced on September 18.

To make the most of Prime Day deals including exclusive discounts and free shipping on eligible products, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member. If you’re a new member, you even get a 30-day free trial to test the service out, but we recommend waiting until October if you plan to use Amazon Prime exclusively for the Prime Big Deal Days sale.

An exclusive deal for Prime members, there was a massive 52% discount on the Echo Dot (5th Gen) with Clock through the Amazon US store. The 2022 Kindle picked up a nice 50% discount during the 2023 Prime Day sale, though you had to buy it through the US global store. It might be a super compact ereader with a 6-inch E Ink display, but it does boast a nice 16GB of storage so you’ll be able to carry your library with you wherever you go. Plus, it packs in up to 6 weeks of battery and charges via USB-C too, so you won’t be left without it for long.

Image

Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones | SG$499 SG$339 (SG$160 off)

Boasting a lightweight and comfortable design, the Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones picked up a SG$160 discount back in July. This wasn’t a Prime exclusive deal either, and a bonus SG$40 coupon brought these cans with great ANC down to just under SG$340 during the sale.

Image

Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max (128GB) | SG$1,799 SG$1,489 (SG$310 off)

Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max picked up a big 17% discount in Prime’s exclusive deals back in July. We think it’s one of the <a href="https://www.techradar.com/au/news/best-phone" data-link-merchant="techradar.com"">best phones out there, and our <a href="https://www.techradar.com/reviews/iphone-14-pro-max-review" data-link-merchant="techradar.com"" data-link-merchant="techradar.com"">review found that it features a premium design and build with incredible camera quality – earning it a great 4.5 star rating.
