CES 2012 Polaroid has introduced a new "smart" camera, powered by the Android operating system and in the same shape as a mobile phone.

We spent some time with the new Polaroid Z340, a new digital camera with an in-built instant printer capable of producing 3x4 inch prints. It will be available at the end of the year.

Polaroid has shown off its latest PoGo printer at an event in London, which offers instant 3x4 snaps.

Polaroid has returned, with a new instant-printing camera – the PIC 300 – set to launch in the UK in May.

Polaroid instant cameras have been brought back to life by a third-party company, with the first batch of old/new devices set to hit shelves sometime in 2010.
