Sony’s X90K is a great all-around TV for movies and gaming, and the 55-inch version is now selling at Amazon for an all-time low of $898 – a 31% price cut. Gaming features are solid, however, with a 120Hz display and a Perfect for PlayStation 5 mode that automatically optimizes pictures when a PS5 is connected.

Amazon Prime Day TV deals: UK deals still running

LG C2 65-inch OLED 4K TV:was £2,699now £1,499 at Amazon

LG C2 65-inch OLED 4K TV: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8428&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB09W65BR8S%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £2,699 now £1,499 at Amazon
This will get you a pretty incredible home cinema and gaming experience for the price, though it was £100 cheaper over Prime Day itself. Because of price cuts like this, we still rate the LG C2 as the <a href="https://www.techradar.com/news/best-tv" data-link-merchant="techradar.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">best TV in the world for most people – you can read why in our full <a href="https://www.techradar.com/reviews/lg-c2-oled-oled65c2" data-link-merchant="techradar.com"" data-link-merchant="techradar.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">LG C2 review, but basically image quality is awesome, and it's crammed with every high-end feature.

Samsung CU8000 65-inch 4K TV:was £999£689 at Amazon

Samsung CU8000 65-inch 4K TV: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8428&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FSamsung-Inch-CU8000-Smart-Built%2Fdp%2FB0BW9STF5G%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £999 now £689 at Amazon
This 65-inch TV is Samsung's highest-end non-QLED TV from 2023, and though we haven't tested it yet, we gave its predecessor 4.5 out of 5 stars. It has a great smart TV platform and lots of extra features – but mostly, the draw here is getting such a large TV from a premium manufacturer for such a low price.

Samsung BU8500 43-inch 4K TV:was £599now £399 at Amazon

Samsung BU8500 43-inch 4K TV:<a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8428&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FSamsung-Inch-BU8500-Crystal-Smart%2Fdp%2FB09V86M86Q%2Fref%3Dsr_1_1%3Fcrid%3DJZ09HZ3EV3L3%26keywords%3DSamsung%2BBU8500%26qid%3D1689030363%26s%3Delectronics%26sprefix%3Dsamsung%2Bbu8500%252Celectronics%252C322%26sr%3D1-1%26tag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK""> was £599 now £399 at Amazon
This is another deal where the actual drop on Prime Day is as hot as it looks – this 43-inch model was made available for its record-low price of £349 again, but it's since risen back to £399. In our <a href="https://www.techradar.com/reviews/samsung-bu8500-55bu8500" data-link-merchant="techradar.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">Samsung BU8000 review (which is the same TV as this, just with a different stand shape), we rated it as basically the best budget TV on the market, thanks to crisp 4K detail, strong colours, a good smart TV platform, and a design that looks way more premium than it should for the price.

LG B2 65-inch OLED 4K TV: 2,599.99 £1,249 at Amazon

LG B2 65-inch OLED 4K TV: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8428&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FLG-OLED-B2-65-Smart%2Fdp%2FB09W66F4R3%2F%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £2,599.99 now £1,249 at Amazon
LG’s B2, the company’s mid-range OLED TV line for 2022, is getting impressive discounts ahead of Prime Day, with the 65-inch model now selling for just £1,249. In our <a href="https://www.techradar.com/reviews/lg-b2" data-link-merchant="techradar.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">LG B2 review, we found it to be a great choice for both movies and gaming, with features like 4K 120Hz support for next-gen consoles.

Samsung S95B 65-inch OLED 4K TV:was £2,399£1,750 at Amazon

This year's Prime Day 25% off deal from Amazon brings this 65-inch model down to £1,750 – although take note, £1,570 is the lowest price we've ever seen.

Samsung Q80B 50-inch QLED 4K TV: was £995£649 at Amazon

Samsung Q80B 50-inch QLED 4K TV: <a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8428&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.co.uk%2FSamsung-Inch-Q80B-QLED-Smart%2Fdp%2FB09V87SBGQ%2F%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-21%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-21" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">was £995 now £649 at Amazon
Samsung’s Q80B QLED TVs represent good value, bringing great colour, brightness and high-end features to a mid-range price. This 50-inch model was actually available for £632 just before Prime Day, but it's still a great buy with that extra saving. This 50-inch version doesn't have the 4K 120Hz support that larger versions do, but for movies it's still a superb choice, as we covered in our <a href="https://www.techradar.com/reviews/samsung-q80b-65q80b" data-link-merchant="techradar.com"" data-link-merchant="Amazon UK"">Samsung Q80B review.

Amazon Prime Day TV deals: FAQs

When will Prime Day TV deals end?

Amazon has officially announced that its 2023 Prime Day sale will take place from Tuesday, July 11, to Wednesday, July 12. So you have until 11:59pm on July 12 to take advantage of these offers – however, some are one-day deals or Lightning deals, so if you see something you like, make sure you don't miss it!

Do you need Amazon Prime to get these deals?

For the vast majority of Amazon Prime Day TV deals, an Amazon Prime membership is required for the full discount. We did see a few non-Prime offers available last year, but if you're in it for the hottest sales, you'll want to pick up a subscription to the service itself. That's not as costly as it initially sounds, as Amazon offers a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial, just be sure to time your trial right.

It's also worth noting that other retailers have been attempting to hijack Amazon's glory for a few years now, running their own sales over the same period with impressive TV deals. That means you might not even need to be on Amazon to get one of the best Prime Day TV deals. Last year we saw Best Buy and Walmart running their own discounts in the US, and while UK retailers were slower to offer up their own sales, many shops like Currys do price match with Amazon.

Amazon Prime: 30-day free trial

<a href="https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?tsid=8428&GR_URL=https%3A%2F%2Famazon.com%2Famazonprime%3Ftag%3Dhawk-future-20%26ascsubtag%3Dhawk-custom-tracking-20" data-link-merchant="Amazon US"">Amazon Prime: 30-day free trial
If you've never signed up before you can get a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime to get access to this year's Prime Day deals. You get the same benefits as paid members, including free delivery, and access to other services such as Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Gaming and more. You can cancel at any time during the trial to avoid paying the regular fee, which is $14.99 / £8.99 per month.

How to pick the best TV for you?

First things, first. What's your budget? Yes, you might be able to bump up how much you spend by a little if you find the perfect TV in this year's Prime Day sales but it's a good idea to set a limit to begin with so you don't overstretch your wallet.

Next up, work out what the best size TV is for you. We suggest measuring the space where you would like to fit your TV, but you'll want to think about viewing angels, brightness and whether you'll be able to put a bit of distance between you and the screen so you can enjoy it properly.

Lastly, there are loads of varying features out there but these often get more premium the higher the price tag so make sure you're prioritising what's best for you and your viewing needs, whether that be watching TV, hosting movie nights or playing video games.
