With phones getting bigger with every iteration, gripping them becomes a little difficult. With the Vivo Nex, the company has tried to alleviate this problem to a certain extend by going all-in on a bezel-less design. While most smartphone makers have tried to use a mix of improvements in industrial design and notch displays to accommodate the front camera and sensors, Vivo has gone ahead and removed the front camera from the face of the phone. Instead, it now pops up whenever you need it.
Apart from this ingenious design, the Vivo Nex is also one of the first few phones to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone has a 6.59-inch display, but due to its design, it may not be all that difficult to grip it.
Asus Zenfone 5z
Not the one to be left behind in the race of bezel-less phones with notch displays, Asus recently launched the Zenfone 5Z featuring a 6.2-inch display in India. The smartphone is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. At a price of Rs. 29,999, the Zenfone 5Z undercuts the new OnePlus 6 while offering flagship-grade specs.
Nokia 7 Plus
First showcased at Mobile World Congress 2018, the Nokia 7 Plus is the company's solution for buyers looking for a solid and complete mid-range phone. Priced at Rs 24,999, the phone is a well suited device for long-term users. The phone not just feels durable but also comes with stock Android Oreo under Android One Program, that ensures software updates for three consecutive years.
Out of all the new Nokia devices, this one has the largest display at 6-inches, and also has an 18:9 aspect ratio.
