While high-end PC gaming is often thought to be an unaffordable endeavor by many folks, the reality is that getting your hands on powerful graphics hardware is easier and more affordable than most people think, especially while seasonal holiday sales are running. No matter what your budget is, there’s an awesome NVIDIA GeForce GPU for you, and no matter which one you choose you’re going to have a great experience. Here’s a list of the best NVIDIA GPUs you can get at each price point, ranging from most to least expensive.

Over $1,000 — RTX 2080 Ti

The biggest and beefiest of the RTX series of GPUs, the RTX 2080 Ti is the definitive graphics card for players who want the best of the best and are willing to spend the money to get it. It’s easily the most powerful GPU offered by NVIDIA thanks to its incredible NVIDIA Turing-powered performance and 11GB of blazing-fast GDDR6 RAM. This gives you the capability to tackle 4K with ease — and with high framerates, too. Like every other RTX card, the RTX 2080 Ti gives you the option to enable ray tracing, which overhauls the lighting in games that support it and allows it to be dynamically rendered in real-time with stunning realism. On top of that, RTX brings Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), a new type of AI-based anti-aliasing, to the table. DLSS uses the power of AI learning to reduce the strain that anti-aliasing has on your system, all while maintaining crisp, clean frames.

Under $750 — RTX 2080 SUPER

The RTX 2080 SUPER is the ideal GPU for gamers who want a high-end gaming experience but don’t want to pay up to the $1,000 mark. It, like the RTX 2080 Ti, delivers fantastic power and has a high amount of GDDR6 RAM (8 GB), and it’s also capable of supporting 4K gameplay with no sweat. Your framerate will still generally be above 60 FPS as well, although not as much as it would be on an RTX 2080 Ti. Still, when you factor in the considerably lower price, it’s easy to see why it’s an amazing RTX GPU.

Under $500 — RTX 2070 SUPER

If you’re looking for something that offers an awesome balance between power and price, look no further than the RTX 2070 SUPER. This video card is an excellent pick if you’re looking for something that can do 4K at around 50-60 FPS, provided you don’t mind turning graphics settings down to High from Ultra. In addition, it’s also an awesome choice if you’re aiming for 100+ FPS at 1440p. Like the RTX 2080 SUPER, it’s got a sweet 8 GB of GDDR6 RAM, too. Overall, when you consider that this card costs just half of what an RTX 2080 Ti does, the RTX 2070 SUPER is an incredible piece of tech.

Under $400 — RTX 2060 SUPER

The RTX 2060 SUPER should be your choice if you want to enjoy what RTX has to offer while still sticking to the affordable side of things. While it lacks the raw power that’s needed for comfortable 4K gaming, this GPU is a fantastic option for people who want to game at 1440p at framerates well above 60 FPS. It’s even capable of averaging just about 60 FPS at 1440p with ray tracing and DLSS enabled on higher settings, which is awesome. In general, the average PC gamer will want to go for this card, as it offers an amazing bang for your buck and is affordable enough that the average player can pick it up.

Under $250 — GTX 1660 SUPER

Designed to be both budget-friendly and very competent for modern gaming, the GTX 1660 SUPER is an amazing choice if you’re looking to save money. It’s not part of the RTX lineup so you won’t be able to take advantage of ray tracing or DLSS, but it offers a great amount of power that enables you to enjoy games at very high framerates at 1080p, and also at about 60 FPS at 1440p, as long as you’re okay with going down to High settings from Ultra. Together with an adequate CPU and a good amount of system RAM, the GTX 1660 SUPER makes a strong case for itself as the best budget gaming GPU on the market.

Under $200 — GTX 1650 SUPER

If you’re in need of the absolute cheapest modern graphics card available, go with the GTX 1650 SUPER. It’s a bit weaker than its GTX 1660 SUPER counterpart, meaning you’ll be getting some lower framerates and will likely need to turn an extra setting or two down. However, it’s also considerably less expensive than the GTX 1660 SUPER as well, which is already super affordable to begin with. The result is a dirt cheap GPU that allows you to play modern games with decent performance. If you’re on a budget or simply don’t care about having high framerates or the best resolution, that just might be perfect for you.

No matter your budget, there’s a card for you

As the options above clearly show, there’s an amazing GeForce GPU for you out there no matter what your budget is. Whether you’re looking to build yourself a juggernaut 4K gaming build, a mid-range RTX machine, or a simple, yet capable rig that’s easy on your wallet, NVIDIA’s wide range of graphics cards will have a GPU that suits your needs.
