HTC Rezound

The HTC Rezound's marquee feature is the Dr. Dre-endorsed Beats Audio, plus the bundled ibeats in-ear headphones. But the 720p HD screen is what really caught our eye.

We liked

The bundled headphones are better than many third-party upgrade versions—provided you like deep, driving bass.

Fast processor and plenty of RAM make for a smooth user experience.

The HD screen looks great, and it's perfect for watching video.

Verizon's 4G LTE network is blazing fast, if you're lucky enough to live in a part of the country where you can get it.

Verdict

If your phone is also your primary music player, the Rezound is worth a look, if only for the included earbuds. At $199, the phone's performance is solid, and we're looking forward to an eventual upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich. At over a half-inch thick, and six ounces though, it's a little like carrying a brick in your pocket.
