A bright and vibrant touchscreen display helps make the most of desktop tasks and Windows 8.1 apps, which can be interacted with thanks to the multiple different use modes afforded by the rotating pivot mechanism. Rotating the display into different positions can be achieved in a snap, and the ability to fold it down into tablet mode means you can save cash on picking up a seperate device.

The highly responsive keyboard has a satisfying touch which, when paired with the roomy clickpad, means that the T904 can be operated easily and comfortably without a mouse.

The T904's Intel Core i5 processor ran every task we could throw at it with ease. Combined with a nippy SSD, we were never waiting long for it to boot or shut down.

Additionally, the inclusion of a SIM card slot gives travelling business users the option to throw in a 3G or 4G card to ensure constant connectivity on the move.

We disliked

With the display fully rotated and flipped over into tablet mode, the device can feel unwieldly and offers a compromised experience compared to using a standalone tablet.

The T904 is also fairly pricey compared to competing 2-in-1 Ultrabooks taking into account the meagre 128GB of storage onboard for the entry-level model.

With no 256GB option to bridge the gap between the high-end 512GB version, you may find yourself signing up to cloud services or picking up an expandable memory card to boost storage capacity.

While the machine didn't stumble during our real world benchmarking tests, the modest Intel HD4400 integrated graphics solution means that graphically demanding tasks - such as gaming or high-end video editing - are off the menu.

For business users looking for a (quite literally) flexible convertible , the T904 is a smartly designed convertible Ultrabook that's solidly constructed, possesses a fine display and more than enough power to crunch through day-to-day tasks.

It sports a hefty price tag, but for enterprises users who would benefit from the 2-in-1 form factor and would take advantage its extensive communication features - there's a lot to like.
