Microsoft has finally lifted the lid on Project Pink - only it's called Kin and the phones will be called Kin One and Kin Two.
Microsoft looks set to launch its own hardware in the shape of the much-vaunted Pink phones next week.
Reports are emerging that Microsoft's 'Project Pink' smartphone project is in trouble, with rumours that its employees "hate the product" and that most of the original Danger/Sidekick team acquired by Microsoft in 2008 have either left or been fired.
Microsoft's possibly forthcoming own phones have been shown off in renders, giving a lot more weight to rumours the software giant is about to bring out its own hardware.
The internet is awash with yet further rumour and speculation that Microsoft is preparing a smartphone (codenamed 'Project Pink') and a Tablet PC to go up against the Apple iPhone and the (rumoured) Apple 'iTablet' in 2010.
