Calling this a 'budget' headset might seem a bit unfair, because there is a lot of great tech included in this well-made product.

On the surface the Plantronics Voyager Legend looks like its predecessor, but it's an improvement on an already impressive headset.

An expensive Bluetooth headset, so why is it worth the money?

Designed with VoIP and Skype conversations in mind, these small and compact headphones manage to offer stereo in-ear headphones, as well as a small but highly usable microphone.

We've had a lot of issues with gaming headsets recently, mainly down to the fact that so many of them use a USB connector and boast instant surround sound. All well and good if you're running onboard sound, but if you've spent out a little on a decent sound card, like the wondrous X-Fi, then no matter how good the cans, you're going to go for a set with analogue connectors.

Plantronics is a company famed for its quality headgear. And, yes, we think you still look like a village idiot if you wander around with a Bluetooth headset on. But who are we to argue with thousands of taxiand lorry drivers?
