Always wanted a Kinect for Xbox 360 but got turned off by the price?
Well, you’re in luck, as Microsoft announced a U.S.-only permanent price drop Wednesday, bringing the motion-controlled gaming interface to $109.99, down from its previous $149.99 heights.
The deal is, as we say, only good for U.S. residents for now, though Microsoft said a price cut in North America, Latin American and Asia Pacific regions where the Kinect is sold will roll out soon.
There’s no mention of slashed prices coming to Europe, Japan, the Middle East or Africa, however.

Despite these omissions, Microsoft is also planning to cut Kinect sensor prices in Australia and New Zealand October 4.
