  1. Sony DR-GA500 review

Sony's stab at the gaming headset is quite unlike anything we've seen before, with a sci-fi look possibly inspired by the high-tech orbital menus found in computer games.

There's no ignoring it - power up the Sony SRS-DB500 and a great ring of blue light pulsates around the multi-jog dial. Any thoughts of subtle ambiance for enjoying films and games goes out of the window - as well as a blinding blue glow.

Can Sony's upgraded gaming headset justify the extra outlay?

    Sony DPP-FP95 review

    Sony DPP-FP95 review

The Sony DPP-FP95 is the most expensive of Sony's dye-sub photo printers. Small, neat and well made, the FP95 has slots for all the major card formats, and not just Sony's proprietary Memory Sticks.

    Sony Wide SMU-C3 review

This strong, wide-format mouse is very comfortable to use, especially if you are migrating away from using a narrow mouse. Its larger size has no bearing on how much power it draws; the low-powered USB slots on an Apple keyboard powered this one

The carrying handle on this tiny dye sublimation printer is quite unnecessary as the bare unit only weighs 1.2kg. However, the sticky-out paper tray and external power brick do rather detract from the slick appearance.

    Sony SMU-M10 Travel Mouse review

    10

We've seen many of these super-slim mice over the years but this one really stands out. It's strong and cunningly designed and doesn't try any Bluetooth or wireless antics, which can so often be a bit fiddly on these small things

These are quite weird, cumbersome headphones from Sony. We're familiar with the MDR range from years of using MDRV-700 DJ headphones for outdoor work and DJing

    Sony Vaio VN-CX1 review

Novelty. It's a wonderful thing. Take this USB optical mouse-cum-Skypephone; what a great idea! But given the fact that novelty wears off, there's a limit to how much we're prepared to pay for such items.

Well, this is certainly a new one for us; a mini mouse that flips openlike a mobile phone, transforming into a fully functional VoIP handset. Swathed in stylish black and silver, the Vaio VN-CX1 looks every bit the executive desk decoration
