A reliable and well-specified external satellite tuner with DVB-S/S2 compatibility, CI support and Mac/PC software

We're glad this card packs dual tuners, especially through a single aerial input, but there are a few things we don't understand. First, it's based on the PCI-Express standard, which seems unnecessary.

Installing the Cinergy T USB XE proved to be pretty straightforward. Connect it to your antenna with the full-sized port, plug the tuner into your PC and it's recognised by Windows immediately.
