We were already pretty chuffed with the GTX 670 in its reference guise, but this factory-overclocked card is something special.

The performance of the GTX 670 should come as no surprise: it's got pretty much all the goodness of the top-end GTX 680.

It turns out this Kepler-based Nvidia card is far more than just another big, power-hungry graphics card relying on pure grunt.

If AMD's HD 7970 debut Southern Islands card arrived in a fancy tux heralding a bunch of world firsts, this HD 7750 turns up in a Burton polo shirt and trainers.

AMD has blinked first and has opted to release its brand new graphics card architecture before Nvidia, and just before the new year. So here it is, the AMD Radeon HD 7970 and, for the time being, it's the fastest graphics card around.

Zotac GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores Limited Edition review

    7

It's almost the same speed as a true GTX 570 and comes in cheaper. It's not quite as well designed a card as the Asus offering, but in price positioning it just makes a lot more sense.

Asus GTX 560 Ti 448 Core DirectCU II review

    6

The big issue though for this, effectively, slightly cut-down GeForce GTX 570 is that you can actually pick up a full GTX 570 for only a little more than the price of this hobbled version. The enhanced cooling gives it a bit of an edge, but the triple slot GTX 570 DirectCU II is available for only £259. And that's the card we'd recommend over this one.
