Fujitsu Siemens' Esprimo range is designed for the business user, with products offering mobility, strength and usability. With an affordable price tag and lack of features, the Esprimo Mobile V5505 (£453 inc. VAT) fits in at the low-end of the range and is one of the cheapest machines here.

The Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook P7230 is a true ultraportable. Weighing in at just 1.4kg, it can be easily slipped into any briefcase and because the chassis is made from magnesium-alloy, it is solid and robust enough to take the occasional knock
