The new L10 has a cheaper-feeling kit lens than the DMC-L1 with the same zoom range, but a slower f/3.8-5.6 maximum aperture
The tilt-and-swivel screen enables shots that aren't possible with conventional cameras
There's a small pop-up flash built into the L10
The L10's auto white balance appears to struggle with tungsten lighting at times. We had to switch to the preset to get a better result
Even in this shockingly dim light the L10 has managed to breathe life into the image. The low angle helps pep the shot up a little
The models' skin tones are a little saturated in this shot but it still makes for a pleasant picture, thanks to a good balance that's not overly yellow
