The D60 is perfect for beginners who want to learn more about photography, and it’s packed with features, even including in-camera retouching and RAW file conversion
The new Nikkor 18-55mm VR lens only adds £30 to the D60 kit’s price, and it’s worth it, enabling you to shoot at slower speeds before camera shake creeps in.
The D60 produces nice, sharp JPEGs and there’s only a little to be gained in terms of definition from shooting RAW.
The 2.5-inch LCD is sharp and clear and, unlike some, also gives quite a good impression of the image’s actual brightness.
