In low light conditions we had to add some exposure compensation to prevent the subject from being too dark. The compensation for this photo was +1 1/3 EV.

Unfortunately the underwater macro setting doesn't enable exposure compensation to be applied, so consequently this image is rather dark.

Detail and colour are captured well using the camera's automatic Scene Recognition mode.

The Auto Focus and tracking worked well to capture high-speed movement, even in low light conditions.

The Motion Panorama 360 shot mode produces good pictures, provided that the photographer can keep up with the speedy timer and keep a steady hand during shooting.
