Canon PowerShot A650 IS review

The camera is quite a bit chunkier than ultra-slim models but, in our minds, that's a good thing

Handling is very good, even though the simplicity of design translates into fewer buttons

With the 2.0x digital tele converter switched on for an effective 420mm focal length, the quality of this handheld shot proves the effectiveness of the image stabiliser.

Colour rendition is rich but accurate in Standard mode. Switching to the Vivid setting would emphasise the greens and browns even more.
