Triangle is very individualistic – some would say somewhat idiosyncratic – in its approach to hi-fi loudspeaker design.

Through careful study and analysis of what, in its opinion, was missing in existing speaker design, French company Triangle prided itself on creating a brand with its own unique sonic identity.

Though expensive, the Quartet is certainly a whole lot of speaker for the money, with a selection of ingredients that put the rest of this test group in the shade.

The Magellan Concerto was new when reviewed in this magazine in January 2005. It has already been upgraded. This latest version is instantly recognisable as a member of the Magellan family, and has a similar configuration to the original.
