The Genius G-Pen F610 is an entry-level pen tablet. It has a drawing area of 10 x 6 inches and connects to your laptop using USB.
It ships with a pen, which is a little on the large size, but we found it easy to use. Above the work area is a row of programmable keys that can be used to quickly launch your favourite art packages.
Easy setup
Setting up the device proved simple and, after calibration, it worked fine. Bundled software includes Office Ink, Power Presenter RE and Ulead PhotoImpact 12.
This isn't the most sensitive pad on the market, but respresents good value for the price. It works with Mac and Windows and can be used directly with the Tablet features in Vista.
The G-Pen F610 isn't a professional-level device, but if you're new to digital art or simply looking for a basic level of input, it's more than satisfactory.
