We liked Canon's 10MP digital camera, especially in regards to that all-important image quality. Argos has it with £40 off the price, making it a good investment for Christmas.

4. Klipsch X1 Headphones - £19.99 - amazon.co.uk
They may look a tad odd, but Klipsch is known for its well-made, great sounding products. These headphones are half price at Amazon, and well worth the money.

5. Sony Walkman NWZ-S639FR - £74.99 - argos.co.uk
If you're buying headphones, you might want an MP3 player to go with them. Sony's latest Walkmans (Walkmen?) boast a 16GB capacity, iTunes support and - best of all - the ability to watch BBC iPlayer content on the go. Take that, Apple.

Logitech's Harmony 785 takes all your remotes and put them into one luxurious unit, complete with a colour LCD screen. It was £180 when we glowingly reviewed it, now play.com has it at less than half price.

Words cannot explain how handy this media player is, but I'll give it a go. Plug a USB drive full of movies into one end, plug your TV into t'other, and hey presto, instant access to your digital films via your tellybox.

This 3G dongle is ideal for accessing the net on the go. It comes loaded with 30 hours of credit per month for three months, which is more than enough for checking your email during the Christmas hols.

10. Hannspree HannsLounge TV - £229.99 - aria.co.uk
Okay, so it's not the most attractive of flatscreen TVs. But it is a 720p 32" for less than £230, which is a deal not to be sniffed at.
