The Galaxy S5 is finally here, and we've done our own huge preview with what could be your next smartphone. We've also got news on the Gear 2 and the Gear Fit, with its lovely curved display.
- Hands on: Samsung Galaxy S5 review.
And just stay tuned below to see everything you'll want to know about the new Samsung Galaxy S5 as it launches. Join us on this page for live updates, or follow TechRadar on Twitter for 140-character updates.
20.59 - And that's me, signing off. Thanks for putting up with this bewildering trip through Samsung's mind. I would say I'm off to get hands on, but that's already done. Might go and look for a starfish on the beach. Bye all!
20.58 And we're done! I can't remember exactly, but I think that's a lot shorter than last year. Then again, I was in a stupor from all the faux-broadway musical action Samsung was pumping out.
So what do we think? Big news? Exciting phone? Or slightly underwhelming version of the Galaxy S4 with fancy bits on top?
20.57 - We have a Samsung Galaxy S5 release date! April 11! That's a long time... the competition is going to be licking its lips at that.
20.56 - We're just going through the highlights now. See earlier to remember what the central tenets were... David is leaving the stage to applause. We want to take this moment in.
20.54 - 'A coach who won't give up on you.' 'We've worked out the workout'. Some great buzzphrases, Samsung.
20.53 - S Health (or Shealth, if you speak to Patrick Goss, TechRadar's Editor in Chief and resident comedy genius) has been updated and can track sleep, stress, food, weight and heart rate. They all seem a little interconnected if you ask me.
There's a heart rate sensor on the flash, and is the 'centerpiece' of the new S Health... yeah. OK.
20.51 - Gear Fit is taking the stage. It's a curved AMOLED display, can change the straps, there are designer options (and hypoallergenic) and it also will show notifications.
It's like a good and nice looking smartwatch. And it's compatible with 20 Galaxy devices! And it's got a heart rate monitor! And you can design your own wallpaper! And...and...well, we're seeing a video of a woman running now.
20.49 - Up to three days battery life this time around - why won't Samsung tell us how? Is it because it's Tizen?
It's also IP67 rated, and according to David 'From rainstorm, to dustproof, you've covered'.
And mega unlucky to hit those weather conditions.
20.47 - The Gear 2 lets you listen to music wirelessly and there's a heart rate monitor inbuilt... free your workout, people! Muted applause. We must be an unfit bunch here.
There's an infra red blaster with the WatchON app so you can control your TV as well... this is like that watch you wanted as a kid so you could change the channel in class and the teacher would have no idea how. Bit late, but we'll take it.
20.46 - The strap is swappable as the microphone, camera and IR blaster are all on the watch head. Going to help a lot of people who hated the old strap, that is. And there's a home button too so you don't keep pulling the hair out of your arm, should you so be follically endowed.
That's agony, when you do it 67 times a day.
20.45 - Oh, he's ruined the suspense. He's showing us the Gear 2. Five key areas here... settle in, kids.
