Vodafone may have become the first network to announce the iPhone 4 UK price - albeit a little accidentally.
A dedicated iPhone site went live stating that users will be able to get the new 16GB iPhone 4 for £189 on the cheapest 18 or 24 month deals.
But if you're after a 32GB variant then the cost shoots up to £280, again on the year and a half or two year deals, according to PC Pro, which saw the site before it was taken down.
Nothing confirmed
However, we've spoken to Vodafone, and it confirmed that there is still no official announcement regarding to the iPhone 4 UK prices.
This statement is backed up by the official Twitter feed, which stated: "This was a test website so nothing yet has been confirmed or announced. Official details will be released very soon!"
The prices announced would mirror the same tariffs as last year, so we suspect there may be a modicum of truth in there - although we're still intrigued to know the official iPhone 4 UK price on pay as you go.

3. I just hope they are offering un-subsidized (payg) pricing from day one. I don't care how much it costs, its all relative. I just sold my wifes 1st gen iPhone for £195. My m8 bought the 3GS with unlimited data for 12 months for £440 on payg, he is expecting to get well over £300 for that second hand, so if the unsubsidised price of the iphone4 is between £400-£500 in reality, it's only going to cost around £100-£140 to have the latest model for 12 months and be free of contract burden to buy the next gen handset jun/jul 2011.

1. Why? Why? Why?
are these companies leaving it so late to annouce prices for an item that goes on pre-sale tomorrow?
Either way £190 before the contract? ok it's good but not that good a handset
