Some people unfortunate enough to be wielding the BlackBerry/Vodafone combo are reporting problems with email.
It seems that some Vodafone customers aren't receiving emails on their 'Berry handsets, an issue that the two companies are looking into.
"Vodafone is working closely with Research in Motion (RIM) to restore full service as soon as possible," a Vodafone spokesperson said.
"As soon as we have further information, we will provide additional updates."
UK and beyond
BlackBerry UK also tweeted, "Vodafone service issues are impacting some BlackBerry customers in Europe, Middle East & Africa. We are supporting their efforts to resolve."
Update: RIM wants to make double-sure that you know the service issues are not RIM's fault. The company sent us the following statement:
"All BlackBerry services are operating normally but we are aware that a wider Vodafone service issue is impacting some of our BlackBerry customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa. We are supporting Vodafone's efforts to resolve the issue as soon as possible."
At the moment it doesn't look as though this email outage is on the same scale as BlackBerry's major week-long fall-down in late 2011, so no need to panic-buy baked beans or bottled water just yet.
