Viewmy.tv is a new social networking website with a twist – apart from the usual content features, it also airs TV clips from some 1,300 TV stations from all over the world.

The online TV streams – from the likes of Al Jazeera, ITV, CNN and ESPN – are free to watch, and include news, entertainment, reality TV and sports action, T3.com reports.

More TV stations are to be added to the Viewmy.tv website over the coming weeks. It’s free to register and use, and you can bookmark your favourite TV stations through your personal profile. You can also chat to other users via forums. RSS feeds let you know when there’s new content available so that you won’t miss anything.

1. I have had a look at this site and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised about what I have found! It seems to present quite a verity of channels, not only from across the globe, but also it terms of genre. I was sceptical about the concept of IPtv, having thought the quality would be poor, lack of good content and pricey set-ups. This is certainly not the case with viewmy.tv; I didn’t even have to register to watch TV! The great points about the site are that it is 100% free and apart from the vast amount of content- the social network was pretty impressive!

I would recommend having a look and embracing what seems like the imminent future of TV.
