Technology is changing the way the public sees the presidential candidates

<>

Digg founder Kevin Rose has admitted he is hugely excited about the role technology is playing in the US presidential election race - telling TechRadar he can't wait to see how much more important it will be in four years time.

Speaking at the Future of Web Applications (FOWA) conference in London, Rose admitted that he was surprised at how many political stories are making it into the site's most Dugg category - and at just how skewed things currently are towards Democratic candidate Barack Obama.

"I look at the front page and it's wall to wall politics," said Rose. "There are stories there that I wouldn't read."

Filtering down

"I think you are right - the stories do seem to be favouring Obama. There are a lot of stories and top 10s right now that are anti-McCain and anti-Palin.

"But if you filter the comments... you can see that there are a whole lot of Republicans in there as well voting the pro-Obama comments down.

"Isn't it fascinating just how much technology is being used this time around? I mean four years ago there was virtually no use of technology and now...

"And it seems that it's the Obama camp using it the most. The [Obama] iPhone app is very good."

4. the user with the handle kevinroseis***

is a knob slobbing tool.

If you follow US news the states are registering new voters 4 to 1 Democrat.

If the majority of people who register at Digg are left wing then of course McCain stories are going to be dugg down quicker.

That's no fault of Digg that's just the numbers.

I hate to break it to this guy but I'd figure the majority of web savvy US citizens are left wing.

I got a few Right wing friends who use IE because fire fox is too complicated and still use @aol.com for there mail service. Sadly I can expect Obama would be well past their comfort level.

3. P.S. This is the ultimate revenge against the left wing losers on Digg. Post a comment on the political spam stories that keep showing up on the front page. LMAO!

2. Oh, Snap! Is that the sound of a sore loser???

Wake up, the majority of the country is now made up of left wing "losers" who are supporting Obama / Biden.

And isn't it just like a right wing nutjob to resort to name calling and threats of violence when they realize things aren't going there way - good job proving how much better you are than us!

Kisses!

1. The stories are favouring Obama because Digg is full of left wing losers living in their parents basement. If you try to submit an anti Obama story it will get buried.

Kevin Rose is an Obama supporter and Digg is no different than Daily Kos or any other left wing dominated media outlet.

Kevin Rose lost my respect a long time ago. I'd respect him more if Digg wasn't rigged, but it is.

If you filter the comments you will also find a lot of democrats voting the pro-McCain comments down.

Kevin Rose, you and your idiot followers can go **** yourself and suck a ****.

I'd love to kick you in the nuts, but you don't have any. ;)
