If Windows has a future beyond the desktop, then maybe you are right. Big if though - and can't see why Sony or Samsung would want to build screens to help MS sell copies of Windows.
Although I can see why they might build screens so *they* can sell copies of their own multi-touch tech.
1. Well said, but don't forget that this might just be one gateway technology that actually works. We'll need it when our screens are wall-sized, window-sized, roll-out and more - basically, it's about different kinds of display.
