With convergence becoming important, perhaps the chance to subsidise a game or some future purchase over the web, i.e. to download the movie for use on a PMP?
1. I'm all-for all these new features etc. But personally, I don't really care about BD-Live and all that stuff. When I buy a movie, I just want to be able to watch that movie, in good quality, on a big TV.
Most people barely get time to watch the movies they buy more than once - i'd wager that most people don't go near any of the special features on DVDS/BDs.
