1. Not really that impressed my GMX, since I signed up to them as a replacement for hotmail, and I get a message telling me I should use Internet Explorer or FireFox. Pardon me, but there are other web browsers and any company hoping to gain market share should consider them.
Yeah, I use Opera as my primary browser, but there are others not least safari. I've not tested gmx in safari but in opera it is crap. At least gmail works with opera, which is more than can be said for hotmail.
It's a pity actually, because no doubt they do have something different to offer, but nowadays not providing a platform for alternative browsers is just plain lazy. The old Code for FF or Opera and hack with for IE goes here. Although, I think some developers still code for IE and shunt FF in there for arguments sake.

2. more coders seem to be preparing for firefox these days rather than anything else
