4. If I wanted a good quality camera - I would get one, but if I want a decent camera around with me when I'm out and about, then I want a nice cameraphone, one that doesn't only work in direct, brilliant sunlight.
I agree about the point, but still, Apple are lagging way behind with a 2MP, especially in 2 years time when the phone will still be in contract.
3. I think the obsession with a camphone's megapixel count is overrated. I've got an iPhone & a Nokia with a 5MP camera, and you are hard pushed to notice much of a difference in picture quality between the two (obviously depending on lighting conditions etc). To my mind a camera on a phone is simply a nice feature, and makes spur of the moment snaps & blogging simple - the fact that the iPhone integrates so well into iLife is a major draw for me. If you want good quality photos, get a good quality camera from the likes of Nikon & Canon :-)
2. I too am wondering at the lack of camera improvement. A 2MP camera with no zoom and no flash is frankly just rubbish by today's standards and I would like to see the iPhone stay equal to its competitors in this regard.
Lack of a decent camera will not stop me from buying the new model of iPhone but it will be a source of diappointment in an otherwise fantastic piece of tech.

1. What about the camera? Surely not still 2MP? Other than that, an affordable, slimmer iPhone sounds very appealing!!
