Look, we at TechRadar would like to say we had insider knowledge about the forthcoming Google Chrome web browser when we dubbed this 'Google week', but we didn't.
So it's as much of a surprise as it is to you that Google has announced its own web browser, designed to be faster, sparklier and generally better and more functional than anything anyone has seen before.
And we, in homage to such an announcement, looked into the newsworthy crevices of such an event with our journo-torch, and found things like the secret behind the browser (is it an OS?), a bio of the creator of the comic strip used to announce it, and an interview with ally / arch rival Mozilla's European boss and Microsoft's Ian Moulster, from the company's Windows Live team.
But it hasn't been ALL Google today (merely around 98 per cent), as there were plenty of other tech titbits floating around the gadget ether to talk about.
Nokia plans to release it's pivotal 'Comes With Music' service on the...XpressMusic 5310. Although it's not the lowest of the low-end phones, the S40 device is hardly what the world was expecting. Hopefully, we should see some more phones added to the 'Comes With Music' line-up asap.
Sony thinks the PS3 can do more, like record Freeview...so plans to get that pesky PlayTV add-on out into the wild soon. We've rounded up all the news like a lexical shepherd and his trusty sheep-dog, Ask.com (we're varied in our internet search engine choices...honestly) so you don't have to trawl through the interweb. Because it's massive.
RIM won't be happy when it sees more pictures of the forthcoming BlackBerry Javelin and Kickstart handsets on the web...unless it leaked them to drum up interest. Who knows?
MSI have unveiled more Wind laptops, in a bid to garner a much bigger slice of the growing netbook market after not making the initial splash everyone was hoping for. Apparently you can even get one in pink, if you don't mind an 80GB hard drive and parting with over £300.
And if you've got an idle five minutes or so more to hand, why not check out TechRadar's hands-on with the TV that Philips is proclaiming as the best in the world? Or find out about Oyster cards in your phone? Or even the chat about the Sony Bluetooth headset for the PS3, which has some people shouting 'FINALLY!' (and others shushing them).
Either way, Google week at TechRadar is going well, and we are looking forward to more Google news shortly. Google claiming its own country perhaps?
