To coincide with the launch of Windows Vista, our parent company Future is launching the Official Windows Vista Magazine this week. The debut issue, on sale Wednesday January 31st, has 132 pages jam-packed with the latest WindowsVista info direct from expert writers and key insiders at Microsoft.

And as a special introductory offer, it'll cost just 99p.

Future already runs the Official Windows XP magazine , and Windows Vista: The Official Magazine aims to take it a step further, providingthe most comprehensive guide to buying, installing and getting to gripswith Microsoft's new OS.

The magazine will also review the latest Windows Vista ready PCs, newhardware, and is filled with tips, tricks and tutorials to help Vista owners get the most out of their PCs.

Paul Douglas, editor of Windows Vista: The Official Magazine told us: "The big difference between our title and others is that Windows Vista: The Official Magazine is all about people using their PC in the realworld. Our readers will be able to get involved, helping to createreviews and tutorials and will be actively encouraged to call, email orinstant message us their questions, ideas and feedback."

Usefully, having Windows Vista: The Official Magazine at Future will give us greater access to the latest Vista-related news, reviews and features. We'll be working together with Paul and his Deputy Editor, Jon Hicks, to swap content and ideas between our two sites. Look out for for a dedicated Windows Vista blog and new reviews in the near future.
