With the office eerily quiet this Thursday afternoon – everyone's gone home early or are digging for exclusives elsewhere – now is the time to reflect on this day of tech. And what a day it's been.
Thursday got off to a great start with the Nintendo DSi finally being revealed (two cameras, black-and-white variations, SD card slot), followed by the news that the company is to offer VOD movies this Christmas, via the Wii.
But if you don't fancy watching movies in a perfectly legal paid-for way, the ThePirateCity is offering streaming movies for free, the legalities of which are extremely dubious.
Microsoft has announced it is to embrace cloud computing sooner rather than later.
Not to be outdone by its main rival, Apple chose today to announce it now has a bigger piece of the PC market, with an eight per cent share.
And soon you will be able to read all this news on an e-Newspaper, as one is in development as we speak.
Back to today, though, YouTube has been caught up in a malware scandal, where some virus makers are using the site for a front for viruses. You shouldn't have to worry though, as it only affects those looking for porn. Oh dear.
But it's not all bad news for YouTube users, as the site is to host its first ever live video stream.
The online music war is heating up with Apple threatening to close its iTunes store if music royalties go up. 7digital is weathering the storm, however, with its announcement that it has first dibs on the Oasis album in FLAC form.
Finally, it's official – Nokia's XpressMusic AKA Tube has been officially announced and we have all the news. Don't say we don't give you anything.
