Still bamboozled on how to use your Bold to sift through your emails, or how to get your Storm to pull up your meetings for the day?

Well, T3 is only too happy to help. Simply follow our guide below to sync up your BlackBerry with your office-bound computer and before you know it, fellow BlackBerry owners will be turning to you for your newfound smartphone knowledge.

Step 1: BLACKBERRY SOFTWARE
Install the BlackBerry software from the CD that's bundled with your handset. If that's gone missing you can download the software from na.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads – we're using the PC edition. Once the software's installed, start the Desktop Manager from the BlackBerry folder in the Start menu. Then ensure your handset is connected to your computer via the USB cable.

Step 2: HOOK-UP VIA USB
With the BlackBerry software open, click on the Options link at the top-right of the window and select "Connection Options" from the dropdown menu that appears. Then you need to select connection type. Click on the "USB-PIN" option that's followed by an eight digit number. Once you've navigated through those menus, click "OK" to close down the dialogue box and continue on to step three…

Step 3: SYNC WITH YOUR ADDRESS BOOK
Click on the "Synchronize" option that can be found on the main page of the Desktop Manager. Then tick the box marked "Synchronize organizer data". Once that's done, click "Configure" – it can be found on the left of the screen – and then click the "Synchronize" button on the screen that appears. You'll then be able to choose what you want to sync with – address book, calendar, memo pad, and so on.
