Not content with stopping 20% time, and reducing the number of duff projects, Google is 'outsourcing its brainstorming', one hopes as a way of interacting with the rest of us, and not as a cost cutting idea-generating exercise.

And if your idea should provide Google with its next blockbuster hit? More fool you, because, "If you post an idea or suggestion and we put it into action, we may give you a shout out on our Product Ideas blog, but we won't be compensating users for their ideas."

If not evil, then perhaps just a little teensy bit dastardly?
